VDSTools is a software component published by VDSC. Buying a licence grants the rights set out below.

Prices include French VAT at 20% — that is €50 and €200 excluding VAT. They are per developer: a second developer working on the same code needs a second licence.
Business customers established in the European Union, outside France: French VAT is not due. On production of a valid EU VAT number, the invoice is issued net of tax — €50 or €200 — and the buyer accounts for the tax under the reverse charge in their own country.

The licence is perpetual for the version bought, and includes all its minor updates. Moving to a higher version entitles the holder to a 25% discount on the price of that new version.
Payment is by PayPal invoice, sent by email on request and payable by card or PayPal account. The licence is delivered by email, within 24 hours of payment.
Business customers: no right of withdrawal applies.
Consumers: French consumer law grants a fourteen-day right of withdrawal. As the licence is supplied immediately, that right is expressly waived, the waiver being collected when the order is placed: once the key has been sent, no refund is possible.
The demo application allows the product to be evaluated before purchase.
Support is by email, at support@vdsc.fr, within reason, for the current major version. It covers the use of the library, not the development of the applications using it.
VDSTools is provided as is, with no warranty that it is free of errors or fit for a particular purpose. The licence holder remains responsible for checking that it meets their needs.
VDSC shall not be liable for indirect damages — loss of business, data or customers — arising from the use of the library. VDSC's liability is in any event limited to the amount paid for the licence.
Statutory warranties owed to consumers remain unaffected.
A breach of these terms terminates the licence automatically. The library must then stop being used and be removed from projects; applications already distributed are not affected.
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de commerce d'Évry.
This choice of court applies between businesses only: a consumer keeps the choice of court that the law affords them.
